Fantasy Playoff Impact Players

It’s Week 14, and likely the opening round  of the playoffs in your fantasy league. Whether you’ve stumbled in like the Kool-Aid Man (see below), or cruised your way to a first round bye, you made it. Now it’s time to plan. Streamers, handcuffs, and matchups, oh my. We’re going to take a look at the players who we think might help deliver you the championship you’ve been waiting for.

Note: Sure, you should probably always play your studs (Aaron Rodgers, Seattle DEF, etc). However, you may not have the luxury of those easy decisions. If that’s the case, these players (based on recent performance and/or matchups) might just do the trick.

Running Back Handcuffs

Whether you have the starter on these teams (listed after each) or are looking for playoff depth, the following running backs will be great options if the guy ahead of them misses any time.

DeAngelo Williams (PIT) (LeVeon Bell)
Derrick Henry (TEN) (DeMarco Murray)
Mike Gillislee (BUF) (LeSean McCoy)
Charles Sims (TB) (Doug Martin)

Week 14 (Playoffs Round 1) Waiver Wire

Playoffs are finally here. As we noted in weeks past, pickups going forward can have a big impact on your chances of winning the title. The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week. Stay tuned for a separate post on top streamers and handcuffs for the entirety of the fantasy playoffs.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

WR
Malcolm Mitchell
(NE) – With three touchdowns over his last three games, the former Georgia standout continues to shine in the high octane New England Patriots offense. Look for that to continue the rest of the season with Rob Gronkowski out.

Taylor Gabriel (ATL) – His ability to contribute was limited due to a decrease in snaps, but with Mohamed Sanu hurt and Julio Jones a bit banged up Gabriel should continue to show his big play ability moving forward.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 13, their team has suffered a loss to injury, or you’re stashing for your playoff run, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Brandon LaFell
(CIN) – It initially seemed like Tyler Boyd was the Cincinnati Bengals receiver to grab once A.J. Green went down, but LaFell as emerged as Andy Dalton’s 2nd favorite option in the redzone (behind TD machine Tyler Eifert).

RB
Shane Vereen (NYG) – The best New York Giants backfield option when healthy, Vereen looks like he will be making his return this week. After extremely lackluster rushing efforts for the past few weeks, the Giants could really use him.

Justin Forsett (DEN) – More of a stash/handcuff, Forsett has been reunited with his former coach, Gary Kubiak, and will be backup to Devontae Booker. With Booker struggling as the lead back in Denver, Forsett could become an important part of the rushing game. However, this won’t happen right away, so you’ll probably need to be patient if you decide to scoop Forsett.

TE
Ladarius Green
(PIT) – As most teams have done this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers used their TE to expose the New York Giants defense, and Green had a big day. Back to full healthy in a top tier offense, Green should continue to get his fair share of targets.

Jason Witten (DAL) – Still seems to be available in many leagues. See above re: New York Giants vs. TEs. He’s got them on Sunday Night Football.

Week 13 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries, under-performers, or bye weeks? Likely the last week in your league before playoffs start, pickups here and going forward can have a big impact on your chances of winning the title. The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

QB
Colin Kaepernick
(SF) – Was a top pickup last week, and then shredded. You need to scoop him if he’s still available.

P.S. Since taking over as QB he has more rushing yards than Todd Gurley, Frank Gore, Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray.

WR
Tyreek Hill (KC) – He really should not be available, but if he is then his 3 all-purpose TDs last week are probably convincing enough, no?

DeVante Parker (MIA) – Yes, we’re assuming that Ryan Tannehill will continue to get Parker the ball. But he’s been doing that frequently as of late, and when he does good things happen.

RB
Wendell Smallwood
(PHI) – Not a lot of certainty in this backfield, especially once Ryan Mathews returns, but Smallwood has good well with limited reps.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 12, their team has suffered a loss to injury, or you’re stashing for a playoff run, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

QB
Robert Griffin III (CLE) – It pains me to put RG3 on this list, but hey, it’s a light week for QBs – ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE COLIN KAEPERNICK. He wasn’t great before he got injured, but the Cleveland Browns’ QB situation has been sketchy at best, and they might give him a go and see how he does, once cleared to return.

WR
Taylor Gabriel
(ATL) – At the beginning of the season Mohamed Sanu was the front runner to be the Robin to Julio Jones’ Batman. However, that seems to have changed in the past few weeks. Enter Taylor Gabriel. Though he’s still more of a boom-or-bust option, Gabriel has that big play ability, as is evident in his Week 12 performance.

Malcolm Mitchell (NE) – There are a lot of mouths to feed in New England, but if anyone is able to spread it around it’s Tom Brady. Mitchell caught two touchdowns in Week 12, and has earned a role in the Patriots offense going forward. Likely not an every week starter on your team, he’s still worth an add based purely on his potential and his QB.

Dorial Green-Beckham (PHI) – Nelson Agholor is barely on the roster, and Jordan Matthews is injured. If Matthews misses extended time, DGB will continue as the Philadelphia de facto WR1, as he did Week 12 upon Matthews’ exit.

TE
Vernon Davis
(WAS) – We told you to stash him, if you were able, weeks ago. Now is the time when you take Davis off the shelf. Jordan Reed looks like he might miss some time, and Davis has been very solid when either Reed or DeSean Jackson have missed time.

Week 12 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries, under-performers, or bye weeks? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

WR
Tyreek Hill (KC) – Not a huge week from Hill in Week 11, but with Jeremy Maclin still hobbled, he’ll continue to get a lot of work.

RB
Thomas Rawls (SEA) – First Christine Michael, now C.J. Prosise. Rawls is now the only fantasy option in the Seattle Seahawks backfield now. Needs to be scooped wherever possible.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 11, are coming off a bye, or their team has suffered a loss to injury, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

QB
Colin Kaepernick (SF) – Kaep is back. High floor, high ceiling. His rushing ability makes him a great option most weeks, and a top-tier streamer this week.

WR
Tajae Sharp (TEN) – Sharp has started to shine with the rest of the Tennessee Titans offense, and has scored in back to back weeks. As long as the Titans continue to put up lots of points, Sharp will be a good WR3/FLEX option.

DeVante Parker (MIA) – Yes, we’re assuming that Ryan Tannehill is able to get Parker the ball. But when he does, good things happen. He’s got good size, and good hands.

Tyler Boyd (CIN) – Though very inconsistent thus far, the talented rookie has the most upside of any Cincinnati Bengal receiver, and should get many targets as long as A.J. Green is sidelined.

RB
Wendell Smallwood (PHI) – Darren Sproles is probably going to be back this week, but Ryan Mathews will not be. Smallwood will get enough work as Sproles’ backup to warrant a pick-up, and will be the clear starter if Sproles’ injury lingers.

Dion Lewis (NE) – He’s back, and ready to rock. In one of the most high octane offenses in the league, Lewis will continue to get both carries and targets.

Mike Gillislee (BUF) – Once a top waiver pickup, Gillislee has fallen off with the continued dominance of LeSean McCoy. McCoy is now hurt, and while he’ll possibly play Week 12, Gillislee is a great insurance plan for folks with McCoy on their roster, or ones that just need more depth.

TE
Vance McDonald
(SF) – Continues to get targets and has done well with the improved quarterback play in San Francisco. In a position that has been weak so far this year, and has seen a few top TEs miss time, McDonald is a good option.

Kaep.gif

Week 11 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries, under-performers, or bye weeks? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

WR
Rishard Matthews (TEN) – Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans offense are STILL rolling. Matthews now has 6 touchdowns in his last 6 games. Oh, and they play Indianapolis this week.

RB
Rob Kelley (WAS) – Kelley continues to be the clear lead back in the Washington offense. Coach Jay Gruden has indicated that former starter Matt Jones may continue to be inactive, showing the coach’s confidence in Kelley, who has lost yards on just 2 of his 60 carries this year.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 10, are coming off a bye, or their team has suffered a loss to injury, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Robert Woods
(BUF) – Still the top option for Tyrod Taylor in the Buffalo Bills’ passing attack, Woods has a nice matchup against the Bengals coming up.

Eli Rogers (PIT) – A preseason stud, Rogers has been hurt and ineffective for much of the season. That changed with a 100 yard game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, and a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. Rogers seems to be Ben Roethlisberger’s second option behind Antonio Brown. The Pittsburgh Steelers have the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts the next two weeks. Rogers will continue to produce.

Tyreek Hill (KC) – With Jeremy Maclin hurt, Hill looks to be the top WR option for the Kansas City Chiefs, getting 13 targets against the Carolina Panthers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been known to give up some big plays this year, and Hill most certainly has the speed and athleticism to exploit that this week. Even when Maclin gets back, Hill will continue to have a place in the Chiefs offense.

Cameron Meredith (CHI) – ICYMI – Alshon Jeffery is going to miss the next 4 games due to a PED suspension. That makes Meredith the the first down field option for Jay Cutler. Meredith had a run of a few great games this year, and then cooled off significantly. He also doesn’t seem to have a ton of chemistry with Cutler. Expectations shouldn’t be too high, but he is a WR1 on a team that likes to throw, so he should get plenty of looks.

RB
James Starks
(GB) – Back from injury, he’s already re-assumed his role as the lead back in the Green Bay offense, which will most certainly rebound from a rough game in Tennessee. The Washington Redskins’ leaky rush defense should allow Starks to get going this week.

Thomas Rawls/C.J. Prosise (SEA)Christine Michael’s time with the Seattle Seahawks has come to an end, as he was waived by the team on Tuesday. That makes both Rawls and Prosise attractive adds. Prosise will be the passing-down back, and will likely be a better fantasy option, but Rawls will get work as the early-down back for the Seahawks, making him a viable option as well.

Kenneth Dixon (BAL) – Still slightly behind Terrance West on the Baltimore Ravens depth chart, Dixon is slowly climbing, and taking advantage of the touches he’s getting. Unfortunately, the offensive line has also been shaky, and the Ravens will have a tougher schedule moving forward. He’s still more a stash, but a worthwhile one in an offense where he’s gotten 11 touches in back-to-back games.

TE
Will Tye (NYG) – With 15 targets over the last two weeks, Tye has shown he can play when given the looks. In a position that has been very weak this year, Tye is a low risk add in an offense that can put up points.

Week 10 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries, under-performers, or bye weeks? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

WR
J.J. Nelson (ARI) – This is the last week to pick up Nelson. Coming off a bye, and a starting WR in a high powered offense, Nelson is in line to burn the Miami Dolphins secondary this weekend.

Corey Coleman (CLE) – A tough offensive game for the Cleveland Browns kept Coleman from really showcasing his skills, but he still managed to get 7 targets in a blowout. The Browns travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens on Thursday night. Their weak secondary should allow Coleman to pick up where he left off prior to his injury.

RB
Tim Hightower (NO) – As promised, Hightower was given plenty of touches in Sunday’s blowout win. Hightower led the team in carries with 23, with Mark Ingram getting 15, and both finding the endzone. The Denver Broncos’ bottom ranked rush defense is next up, so look for more of the same this week.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 9, are coming off a bye, or their team has suffered a loss to injury, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Rishard Matthews
(TEN) – Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans offense are rolling right now, and Matthews has been one of the biggest beneficiaries,  with 5 touchdowns in his last 5 games. Look for him to keep that up this week against the Green Bay Packers.

Dontrelle Inman (SD) – The San Diego Chargers’ leader in snaps played at the wideout position, Inman should be in line for a decent amount of work behind Tyrell Williams, if Travis Benjamin misses time due to injury. Philip Rivers loves to spread the ball around, and Inman will certainly benefit.

RB
Chris Ivory
(JAX) – Ivory looked like his former self on Sunday, steamrolling opponents and compiling triple digit yards for the first time this season. He would have be in for a much bigger day, but lost a fumble on a questionable call that actually looked like a touchdown. He seems to be locked in, and is a solid play.

Rob Kelley (WAS) – The newly minted starter for the Washington Redskins is said to be the early-down back for the team in Week 10. Head coach Jay Gruden is clearly a fan of the young running back and the results he’s seen from him thus far. The Redskins have a tough matchup in the Minnesota Vikings coming up this week, but as the lead back in a very effective offense, we like Kelley to keep up the good work.

DuJuan Harris (SF) – With Carlos Hyde out Harris capitalized and went for 142 yards and a touchdown on just 15 touches. Yes, this was against the New Orleans Saints and their swiss cheese defense, but regardless, Harris seems to have some skill. If Hyde misses more time it’s probably safe to say that Harris will continue to fill the void.

Kapri Bibbs (DEN) – Anyone who had C.J. Anderson on the team knows this drill by now. When Anderson began to struggle it was said that Devontae Booker was going to have an expanded role. Now that Booker is the starting back, and struggling a bit, it is Bibbs that looks to be in line for more touches. While this backfield is a bit hard to figure out at the moment, anyone that has Booker needs to scoop Bibbs. He’s even worth an add in deeper leagues for people who don’t have Booker.

Week 9 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries, under-performers, or bye weeks? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up in past weeks, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

QB
Dak Prescott (DAL) – This might seem like a no-brainer as Dak has been crushing thus far. However, with a bit of uncertainty surrounding Tony Romo’s return, folks seem to be wary of having Prescott on their roster, making him available in many leagues. I couldn’t disagree more. Sure, I wouldn’t drop someone with a little more job security for him, but if you’re in need of a QB I’d roll with Dak until he gets benched, which again might not even happen.

WR
Donte Moncrief
(IND) – As noted last week, Moncrief is back and has already reached pay dirt. This guy is a legitimate talent and needs to be on your team, if somehow still available.

RB
Matt Asiata (MIN) – Asiata didn’t have the dominant performance we were looking for against the Chicago Bears. However, with Jerick McKinnon still injured and the Detroit Lions on the docket this week, Asiata is a good add during a week with 6 teams on bye.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 8, are coming off a bye, or their team has suffered a loss to injury, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Mohamed Sanu
(ATL) – Sanu seems to be settling into his new home. A nice compliment to Julio Jones in an explosive Atlanta Falcons offense, Sanu caught 9 passes for 84 yards and a game-winning touchdown on Sunday. With the Jones banged up and Sanu earning the confidence of Matt Ryan, Sanu should be a good play moving forward. Though they’re on a short week, let’s not forget what the Oakland Raiders just did to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense. Sanu’s eating good on Thursday Night Football.

Corey Coleman (CLE) – After going off with 5 catches for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns in just his second career game, Coleman missed the next 6 games with a hand injury. Luckily, it looks like he’ll finally be back this week to face the Dallas Cowboys. Though he is now the likely WR2 for Cleveland with Terrelle Pryor filling the WR1 void in his absence, he has shown that he is a talented player when healthy, and needs to be picked up wherever he wasn’t stashed.

J.J. Nelson (ARI) – A newly designated starter and speed demon, Nelson caught 8 balls for for 79 yards and 2 scores against a pretty soft Carolina Panthers secondary. The Arizona Cardinals are heading into a bye, but get the San Francisco 49ers when they return to action. The weak matchup and his big play ability make him a good add if you’re looking for WR depth.

RB
Charcandrick West
(KC) –  Let me preface this note with the fact that this pick up depends entirely on Spencer Ware’s status for the week, as he’ll have little value if Ware is active. That said, with both Jamaal Charles and Spencer Ware banged up, West is next in line. He did a solid job filling in for Charles last year, who is getting his knee checked out, and if Ware misses time due to this concussion, West could get a lot of work Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Because planning ahead is a major key to fantasy success, West should be scooped in all leagues ahead of the week’s first injury reports.

Tim Hightower (NO) – While not as immediately valuable an add as someone like Charcandrick West might be, Hightower will be a popular pick up this week. After Mark Ingram’s awful day, and Sean Payton saying he wanted to get Hightower more touches, he’ll be a good stash if Ingram continues to struggle, and a possible FLEX play depending on matchups.

Derrick Henry (TEN) – He is who we thought he’d be. A Heisman winner last year with Alabama, Henry is looking like the player the Tennessee Titans hoped they were investing in when they drafted him. He’s clearly got a ton of talent and plays for a team with a run-heavy approach. He found the end zone last week, and it looks like DeMarco Murray is not 100%. While this might be a bit of a stash, Henry will have RB1 status if he takes over the starting role from Murray.

Bilal Powell (NYJ) – While Powell is clearly Matt Forte’s backup, he has once again shown us that he can ball when he gets the rock. Powell is also more of a stash at this point, but Forte hasn’t been the most sturdy over the course of his career, and Powell is next up if he’s to miss any time.

TE
C.J. Fiedorowicz
(HOU) – Brock Osweiler is not the most reliable of fantasy assets, but he seems to like CJF, and that’s good enough for us. The TE position has been incredibly thin this year unless you have someone like Rob Gronkowski or Delanie Walker. If you don’t have one of those elite TEs, Fiedorowicz is a great add. Over the last month only Gronk and Walker have more fantasy points at the TE position than CJF. You’ll have to wait until Week 10 to play him, as the Houston Texans have a bye this week, but they have a tasty matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars when they get back.

Eric Ebron (DET) – Back from injury and ready to rock. Ebron hauled in 7 catches for 79 yards in his first game back since Week 4. Similar to Fiedorowicz, Ebron is a good add for a position that hasn’t had much production this year. Oh, and Matt Stafford can really toss that pigskin.

K
Justin Tucker (BAL) – Tucker is arguably the best in the game. With the Baltimore Ravens coming off a bye he was probably dropped in many leagues – just like Dan Bailey last week. If so, get him. You’ll be set at kicker for the rest of the season. The guy’s also got some swagger, for what it’s worth.

Week 8 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries and under-performers? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for this week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up last week, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

WR
Davante Adams
(GB) – Their backfield has been a mess, and Jordy Nelson hasn’t quite been the same since coming back from injury. That translated into Adams exposing a weak Chicago Bears defense on Thursday Night to the tune of 13 catches for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. With another plus matchup against the Atlanta Falcons this week, Adams will be a top waiver target, if still available.

WR/RB
Ty Montgomery (GB) – A real life FLEX option, and eligible for both positions if you use ESPN, Montgomery seems to be the favorite to take Eddie Lacy’s place in the Green Bay offense. Oh, and he catches a bunch of passes too. Montgomery should be a top weapon against the Atlanta Falcons who just gave up 3 touchdowns to Melvin Gordon.

RB
Jay Ajayi (MIA) – So, apparently this is not a drill. Arian Foster shocked the NFL and decided to retire this week, and Jay Ajayi continues to ABSOLUTELY DOMINATE. 55 touches for 418 yards and 3 touchdowns in his last two games. The Dolphins have found the remedy to their Ryan Tannehill woes on offense. Though they have a bye this week, with the New York Jets up next on the docket, he’s a must start again in Week 9.

Jacquizz Rodgers (TB) – One of the biggest pickups ahead of Week 7, Rodgers did not disappoint. With 62 touches and more than 100 yards rushing in his last two games combined, Rodgers should continue to get lots of work until Doug Martin returns from injury.

Devonta Booker (DEN) – Coach Gary Kubiak said he wanted to get Booker more involved in the offense, and did just that on Monday Night. He even gave the talented rookie the first carry of the night. Both Booker and C.J. Anderson found the end zone in a game dominated by the Broncos. Denver’s upcoming schedule and willingness to run make Booker a solid FLEX option, and a great RB option if Anderson begins to sputter.

On to the next one:
Whether they had a big Week 7, are coming off a bye, or their team has suffered a loss to injury, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Donte Moncrief (IND) – While he’s been out since Week 2, Moncrief is expected to return to practice this week. The clear number two wideout in the Colts offense when healthy, he needs to be added ahead of his return to the field in the coming weeks.

RB
Matt Asiata
(MIN) – A touchdown vulture even when Jerick McKinnon is healthy, Asiata will step up as the starting running back if McKinnon misses Monday Night’s match against the Philadelphia Eagles.

TE
Jack Doyle
(IND) – After a two touchdown game Week 1 against the Detroit Lions, Doyle had been quite until Week 6 where he found pay dirt again. He then followed that up with 9 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. Though he has a tough matchup this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, he is now the starting tight end, and one of Andrew Luck’s favorite redzone options. He should continue to pile up targets until Dwayne Allen gets back, and possibly even after.

K
Dan Bailey (DAL) – Bailey is one of the best in the game. With the Dallas Cowboys coming off of a bye he was probably dropped in many leagues. If that’s the case, you need to scoop him – he’s about as reliable as they come.

Week 7 Waiver Wire

Lineup wrecked by injuries and under-performers? The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for this week.

Should already be on your roster:
The following players should have already been picked up last week, but if still available should be a top target for you this week:

QB
Marcus Mariota (TEN) – Mariota seems to finally be hitting his stride this season (a streak of sub-par opponents certainly doesn’t hurt). With at least 3 touchdowns the past two weeks, and dates with IND, JAX and SD coming up, we like Super Mariota to continue dominating.

WR
Cameron Meredith (CHI) – Taking over for the injured Kevin White, Meredith has filled in seamlessly. Racking up an absurd 27 targets for 243 yards and a touchdown over the past two weeks, Meredith needs to be owned in every format.

Quincy Enunwa (NYJ) – With Eric Decker out for the year, Enunwa is the next man up. Though he’s yet to find the end zone since Week 1, he has gotten at least 5 targets every week. His upside is limited by the shaky offense and terrible quarterback play, but he’s clearly talented and has the hobbled Baltimore Ravens this week.

RB
Terrance West (BAL) –  While Kenneth Dixon is seen as the back of the future in Baltimore, West seems to thrive under pressure. Over the past three weeks, he has averaged 18 carries, 98 yards and a touchdown. He also draws the New York Jets this week, which anyone that has David Johnson knows is a fantastic matchup. West will keep the streak going and find the end zone again this week.

James White (NE) – Like everyone in the Patriots arsenal, White has greatly benefited from the return of Tom Brady. A staple in the pass game, White has also been getting a handful of carries every game. He’ll continue to produce as long as the Patriots keep rolling.

On to the next one:
After a big Week 6, these guys need to be your targets for the week:

WR
Kenny Britt (LA) – Feels like we’ve hopped out of the DeLorean into the year 2010, and in walks fantasy relevant Kenny Britt. Clearly the WR1 in Los Angeles, Britt had a monster week at Detroit, grabbing 7 of his 8 targets for 136 yards and two scores. Case Keenum at quarterback may limit his ability to produce to his full potential, however look for Britt to continue being the main target of his QB’s below average passes.

RB
Jay Ajayi (MIA) – Man, I hate having Ajayi on this list, as it is purely based on his Week 6 performance. Ajayi absolutely shredded the Pittsburgh Steelers in that contest, rushing 25 times for 204 yards and two scores. Even with this performance, it would be no surprise to see Arian Foster slowly make his way back into the mix, putting Ajayi’s fantasy potential in limbo. That said, ride the Ajayi train until it’s final stop.

TE
Hunter Henry (SD) – Realistically, Henry should be in the prior category, as we’ve seem him do well for the past three weeks, but this is the last week to get him on waivers. This guy is a beast. If you watched the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos play on Thursday night you heard his name about 28 times. Scoring a touchdown the past three weeks, Henry has solidified himself as a solid TE1, even with Antonio Gates healthy and in the lineup. Henry led the Chargers in targets, catches and yards against the league’s best defense (which hadn’t given up a score to the TE position prior to the game). Just a rookie, and quickly becoming a Philip Rivers favorite, Henry is the real deal and will be a viable fantasy option moving forward.
