Week 2 Waiver Wire

Your draft day lineup let you down Week 1? Looking to scoop the top waiver wire add for the week? While still early, pickups from now on can have a big impact on your chances of winning the title. The following players should be the top waiver wire priorities for the week.

Keep in mind, only players with an asterisk are “must-adds” for the week. The other players are ones that can be added if you need a replacement or depth at that particular position, and are in order of our preference.

QB

*Carson Wentz (PHI) – Wentz went for over 300 yards in his Week 1 matchup against division rival Washington. With a lot of weapons at his disposal, Wentz should continue to put up solid numbers.

Sam Bradford (MIN)

Tyrod Taylor (BUF)

RB

*Tarik Cohen (CHI) – In his debut, Cohen tallied 13 touches for 113 yards and a touchdown against Atlanta. Not saying that he has taken over for Jordan Howard completely, but it’s hard to ignore that volume and production. He will at least be a member of a timeshare, making him a viable FLEX going forward. He is a must-add and our #1 waiver claim for the week. Plus, he can do this:

Javorious “Buck” Allen (BAL)

Chris Carson (SEA)

Kerwyn Williams, Andre Ellington, & Chris Johnson (ARI)

WR

*Cooper Kupp (LAR) – Yes, it was just one week and it was against Indianapolis, but the Rams looked very good. Jared Goff seemed to be comfortable and was able to get the ball to Kupp four times on six targets, for 76 yards and a touchdown. Sammy Watkins is still the WR1 in LA but, if this keeps up, Kupp can certainly be a FLEX play week to week.

Corey Davis (TEN)

Kenny Golladay (DET)

Nelson Agholor (PHI)

Marquise Lee & Allen Hurns (JAX)

TE

Charles Clay (BUF)

Austin Hooper (ATL)

Zach Miller (CHI)
